Chains of Fate Series
The Chains of Fate is a universe I created with my co-author, Kenyon Y. Hunt. The concept started with Strawberry's Black, and the whole city spawned from there. The world around that dungeon just kept growing, and so did the series. What started out as one book became a trilogy, and then it became the first of six trilogies. There's a lot of things in the world of Chains of Fate to share with you, and I hope you stick around for it all. Most of the books are independent of each other, but there are threads running through all of them connecting them back to the events in Doctor's Training, so if you want to get the most, read them all!

Venture into the darkness of St. Louis and find out what goes on under the surface of the typical midwestern city. From insidious plots to overthrow the leadership of the various communities, to Irish mobsters warring with each other, there is much to uncover in the world of the Chains of Fate. Staring in Doctor's Training, the Chains of Fate takes you on a ride through fifteen more books, detailing the occurrences in St. Louis that begins with the kidnapping of a doctor. The stories feature polyamorous relationships, both the good and the bad, as well as a thriving and controversial BDSM scene in the sprawling city. Vibrant characters make this setting memorable, and there are many original locations explored in the books, not the least of which is the Dungeon/Goth club named Strawberry's Black.
Strawberry's Black is operated by a pair of twin sisters, Danica and Marisa Patrick. Marisa runs the goth club, while her sister Danica runs the lower levels of the vast, abandoned brewery. Here, there are two levels to this dungeon, one for the more casual kinksters, and a lower level for those more serious about their play. Danica has a penchant for rescuing abused submissives from predatory dominants, and helping them reintegrate back into society. She also takes on training of other dominants as a pro-Domme who goes by Strawberry (due to the vibrant red hair she sports). From within this dungeon, she seeks to break down a growing threat to the younger kinksters of their community, and with the help of the Seath family, she just might do it.
There is a deeper darkness trying to consume those in the alternative lifestyles of St. Louis, and in this series of stories, various characters find their way into, and out of, the dark. Learning about the wrongs committed in the city, the entire Seath Pack (which includes our dear doctor and his closest companions) works alongside Danica to dismantle this dark danger to them all.

Doctor's Training Begins it All
Vivid worlds and detailed characters are a hallmark of this series of books. Healing through bondage and the local club, Strawberry's Black, are featured throughout.

A Journey through the Winding Paths of Trauma, Recovery, and Truths Laid Bare.
In the Midwestern city of St. Louis, Missouri, a diverse population of people allows for a mixing of many cultures and ideas. The city draws in many people worldwide because of many of the opportunities it offers to individuals and companies. Situated on the Mississippi River, shipping and gambling have always been a part of the culture here. Inside this area, many subcultures exist. Some of these subcultures are known by everyone, but some of them are less known to the outside observer.
A Bartender seeking Bonds and Understanding.
In the world of business, crime, and poverty, a young bigender kinkster finds himself wrapped up in a dangerous life with warring Irish Crime Families. Escaping things he’d rather forget, Devan Sullivan wants only to find someone to care about, and that can care about him as he is. Devan finds a home within the confines of the local dungeon Strawberry’s Black. A child of kinksters, Devan knew he would end up in this Lifestyle, though not in the way things happened. Devan spends his time most time split between two modes of existing. He becomes his male self as a submissive, but when Dominant, she becomes her female self. Devan has trouble accepting himself in his “real world” version outside the dungeon, where he is a blend of both male and female. He ends up being pulled into the most dangerous part of the life he lives, that of surviving an all-out war between the two crime families and trying to keep those he’s come to care about safe.
An Artist seeking Self-identity and Purpose.
Varick Jaeger has spent most of his life doing for others instead of himself. He’s always had problems defining himself, and over the years has just come to believe that he cannot define his self-identity. He spends most of his life feeling out of place and defining himself by what he can do for others. He gives up a successful career in writing when he leaves school and uses his entire college fund to get himself to Santa Cruz, California to help his father. Once there, he found his father gone again. Alone and without any family, he ends up forging a family of his own. When things turn bad, Varick seeks out help from a friend he’s made through their mutual love of old motorcycles. When the private investigator helps Varick put his own friends away, he then helps him return home to his sister. A practiced tattoo artist now, he takes up a job at a small tattoo and piercing place in St. Charles, Missouri. He finds the way people judge him based on his appearance amusing most of the time, however, there are times he just wants people to see him for who he really is. More than anything, Varick feels lost and alone in the world. His purpose in life has been lost, and he has become tired of trying to understand why.
An Actor seeking Fulfillment and Connection.
Carmine Deangelo grew up taking care of his mother and dealing with the fact he would never fit into the world. His world exists in shades of gray, never easy and never black and white. He never knew his father, and he’s never had a problem with that fact. He’s a relatively successful actor, but he finds racism and prejudice at every turn. Carmine’s struggle with bipolar disorder since his teenage years has made finding himself difficult. He desperately wants a connection to others, but he can’t seem to find someone that makes him feel like he matters to them. A string of lovers, both male and female, follow the young actor. Luckily, the truth behind his failed relationships, partners unable to handle his disorder, has never surfaced. It pains him to think he may never have a fulfilling relationship because of this reputation. He feels that if his disorder came to be common knowledge, he’d never be able to act again. His best friend Charles knows that Carmine needs something more in his life and gets him involved in the local D/s scene. He enjoys it, but never seems to be fulfilled no matter how many people he plays or scenes with. Finally, he encounters someone who intrigues him in every way, and someone that he thinks might just be able to handle him at his worst.
A Doctor seeking Acceptance and Healing.
Dr. Kieran Sung grew up as an only child. Born severely prematurely, Kieran has always been under the careful watch of his parents. He spends most of his time trying to fake “normalcy” for his father and doctor. Kieran has an incredible mind for medicine and surgery, a fact he attributes to his autistic nature. He has always assumed that he would never be capable of being himself since he has to be what everyone thinks he should be. He depends on his father and mother wholly, and only connects with a few people in his life. When his mother dies not long after he turns fourteen, Kieran finds out he has a family he never knew. Strangely, though, his father insists that he has no contact with this side of his family. After a particularly stressful period of anxiety-inducing encounters, Kieran finds it harder and harder to hide his self-stimulating behaviors. His social awkwardness and blunt nature lead to some unpleasant encounters with patients and families. This makes him an easy target for a pair of men looking to get enough money to buy themselves out of trouble with one of the Irish Crime Families. Ransoming the young doctor isn’t enough, though, believing that using him to appeal to the disturbing nature of Rian Callaghan will make them more likely to be allowed to leave.
When the world comes crashing down on all of them, they find themselves drawn into a web of intrigue, hatred, and lies. There’s more to things than seems to be around them, even as they hide away in a “civilian” safe house. Devan finds himself spiraling, his own past rapidly coming to the surface. Interconnections and seemingly “random” meetings turn out to not be so random. All the time, the doctor begins to lose the last shreds of control. They have no choice but to step and offer him a solution to benefit them all.
Follow these journeys of self-identity, self-acceptance, recovery from trauma, and finding comfort in bondage.
Following Doctor's Training, be on the look out for SEVEN slated trilogies following different characters, though their stories are all entwined in some fashion with those of the Doctor's Training trilogy.
In the Kink in the City Trilogy, St. Louis is explored even further. An Exclusive Proposition follows a sex worker who found himself dragged into the lifestyle at an early age who falls in love with a client. Rainbow Daisy looks at the life of a young man attempt to raise his sisters and his relationship with a rich playboy. Sweet Obedience deals with a character who sees something dangerous and is pursued by a crime organization. His rescue and subsequent submission to a powerful man follows.
The Altered Lives Trilogy deals with people who have had their lives drastically altered by trauma. Their journey through healing includes learning to accept someone's help as well as accepting themselves as they are. It also deals with a lot of different versions of coping and healing, and the path to each of these through the use of Bondage. Forbidden Submission takes the reader through the experience of an abused foster kid and the professor that falls for him. A Bit of Lace follows a femboy who undergoes a horrific attack and the casual partner that steps up to become more. Touch of Control deals with a young college student with something terrible happening and the two peers that decide something must be done to help him.
Chasing the Light follows characters who are mired in darkness and seek the light. These characters range from a man abused by his girlfriend in a Rose from Darkness, a man kept by a serial killer obsessed with him in Unseen Darkness, and a young man rescued from a sex trafficking ring in the Dark of the Blade. All these characters find comfort in bondage and recover at the hands of strong dominants. All these stories are about so many issues surrounding their recovery that it may seem insurmountable after trauma.
The Dawnstar Trilogy is the fourth trilogy in the Chains of Fate. This storyline sees the culmination of one of the overarching conflicts in the whole of Chains of Fate and how these new characters are entwined in this resolution. Inside the Dollhouse speaks of the rescue of forced brothel workers presented as dolls to clients, and a man's failed attempts to distant himself. His Princes finds a young professor with a history of severe abuse finding solace in an older student who has the ability to dominate in a gentle way that supports his healing. And finally, the last book, Exhale, follows the issues surrounding familial abuse and non-consensual incest and it's affect on a young man as he learns to trust someone once again.
The Taming Game, in a post Dawnstar St. Louis, follows three sets of characters as they navigate the stormy seas of trauma, recovery, and love. Claiming Belladonna follows the exploits of a couple who are looking for someone to add to their dynamic. Chasing Violet focuses on a polycule that finds a new interest. Charming Yuthika deals with a doctor who falls for his athlete patient.
Moon Garden is a trilogy that deals with the addition of a vicious Russian mobster looking to take over the underworld of St. Louis in the power vacuum that exists after the events in the Dawnstar trilogy. In the first book, Primrose's Savior, different groups find themselves on opposing sides with the mobster's people, but one of his men finds himself enamored with a target. The story continues in Moonflower's Shadow, where an assassin sent to recruit a prodigy hacker finds himself unable to do what he's been instructed to do. Datur's Truth follows another underling of the mobster as he falls into a relationship he definitely should not.
The final trilogy, Running into Love, follows three other characters as they experience life changing trauma. The Camer's Eye deals with a man entwined in substance use and the people who take advantage of that. Close friends step up, aiding him in his recovery, and what starts out as friendship turns to intense love. The Camera's Eye details a character who is in love with his best friend but fears losing the friendship, thus he finds another partner. When an obsessed stalker changes his life drastically, his friend comes to his aid even though he's running. Finally, Getting His Wings deals with a young man labeled disabled and dealing with an abusive step mother and his adopted brother as they find love and a depth of feeling with partners unlike they ever imagined.

Timeline of Events
Below find the timeline of when events in the Chains of Fate books take place. Each set has a different timeline, and they all progress the overall timeline of events in the whole Chains of Fate series. Events in St. Louis, though, usually don't impact the other two cities, but they may, so watch out for those threads that run between these books!
