Doctor's Training
This first trilogy in both the overall universe of Healing Bonds as well as the series Chains of Fate was originally just a standard book. It quickly turned into much more than we intended. Kenyon and I have done a lot of work on this trilogy, and it spawned the idea of not only making a whole series, but an entire universe to set the different books. Following the doctor through his journey of healing through bondage set up the idea that this was something that could be done multiple ways, and the only way to use all the ideas we came up with was to do a lot of books with different situations and different characters. All of it comes back to Kieran, Devan, Varick, and Carmine though, and there will always be callbacks to this group in the books throughout three different book series.

Doctor's Training Trilogy
When desperate criminals find an easy target in the autistic doctor, Kieran Sung, they do not realize the scope of their actions. They see the awkward and oblivious doctor as a way to get themselves out of trouble with the St. Louis Irish mob boss, Rian Callaghan. Callaghan, though, sees something he greatly desires in the young doctor, something innocent, something he can destroy.
Unknowing of the fact that Kieran has made friends with some people that can help him, he takes his chance to take something precious from Kieran. Devan Sullivan, one of his trusted associates, is not as trusted as he seems, and ends up breaking the young doctor out of Callaghan’s clutches with the help of Varick Jaeger and Carmine DeAngelo, two men who have become enamored from afar with the doctor.
What follows is shocking revelations about a secret family line Kieran knows nothing about, and connections between himself and his childhood best friend Artemis Seath and his family. To escape the coming wrath of Callaghan, Kieran, his allies, and the Seath family lock themselves in a safe house few know about in Chesterfield. Stuck there, they help the doctor heal from his trauma, and work through a lot of things. Things, however, are not as safe as they seem, and the allies turn out to be enemies in some of the worst ways.
After suffering at the hands of the enemy, Devan has his own path of healing to walk, and eventually the entire war between Rian Callaghan and a fellow mob boss that works out of St. Charles comes to a crushing conclusion, with the revelations of secrets, lies, and much more.

Stolen Innocence
When desperate criminals find an easy target in the autistic neurosurgeon Kieran Sung, the young doctor is soon at the mercy of a local Irish mob boss with perverse desires. Despite suffering a life-altering event at his hands, rescue finds him with relative quickness. Circumstances pull him unwillingly into a situation that brings his world crashing down, destroying the carefully laid routines and structure he desires. Kieran needs to find a new way of living, but he’s unsure how. He discovers comfort in ways he never imagined, within sensations of pressure and binding, something he has indulged all his life despite his mentor’s warnings that it is abnormal.
Taking the hand of a childhood friend who desires nothing else but to help him, Kieran realizes his heart aches for more in his life. He looks around him for the first time, seeing the world in new ways that his upbringing prohibited him from doing. Circumstances bind him to a tattoo artist named Varick Jaeger, an actor named Carmine DeAngelo, and a bartender named Devan Sullivan. With this unlikely trio, Kieran must learn how to handle the upheaval in a life he now sees desperately needs change.
Stolen Innocence, part one of the Doctor’s Training Trilogy, is a story of healing that examines D/s culture, the complexities of polyamory, and how people often deal with mental and physical trauma. Follow Kieran, Devan, Varick, Carmine, and the rest of their pack as they navigate a world that rarely accepts people who do not fit in with expectations.

Doctor's Training Part One

Safe Haven
Getting used to being locked up in a safe house, Devan Sullivan deals with a past he would rather forget in his attempts to help the young doctor Kieran Sung heal from his recent attack. The group is confined to the large Seath mansion, a house made specifically to protect the mob-connected children of Irish Mobster Damien Seath. Things are not what they seem, and connections that were never intended are made between unlikely members of the Seath household and the people they are striving to help protect. Outside, the FBI is scrambling to avoid an all-out war between the rival mobsters Rian Callaghan and Liam O’Brien. However, is everything between the two Family Heads as simple as it appears?
Safe Haven, the second part of the Doctor’s Training Trilogy, is a story of healing that examines D/s culture, the complexities of polyamory, and how people often deal with mental and physical trauma. Follow Kieran, Devan, Varick, Carmine, and the rest of their pack as they navigate a world that rarely accepts people who do not fit in with expectations.

Doctor's Training Part Two

Blooming Camellia
As everyone is moved frantically to safety after the attack on the Seath Safehouse, no one is sure of the future for the Seath Family and the four people they want to protect. The young doctor at the center of all the chaos, Dr. Kieran Sung, begins to realize there is more to life than what he has done with it. Kieran reaches for Devan Sullivan, the latest victim in the conflict that his own kidnapping began and finds a companion along the road to healing and recovery. They start to see that their journey is together as the conflict between the mob bosses Liam O’Brien and Rian Callaghan comes to a soul-wrenching conclusion.
Even after everything, the pack can’t imagine life without each other. The bonds they formed in the safe house are even stronger after they’ve left it. With tragedy happening all around them, they seek to find safety with each other. Their separate lives are not what they used to be, and everyone, but most especially Kieran, find that living the old way of life is not feasible any longer.
Blooming Camellia, the final part of the Doctor’s Training Trilogy, is a story of healing that examines D/s culture, the complexities of polyamory, and how people often deal with mental and physical trauma. Follow Kieran, Devan, Varick, Carmine, and the rest of their pack as they navigate a world that rarely accepts people who do not fit in with expectations.
