Chasing the Light
Ventures into the darkness are not always quests against world changing evils. Sometimes they are just fighting evil eye to eye in the regular world. It can be breaking free of abusive relationships, or it can be becoming a new person when the world is suddenly brighter. Human hearts can harbor intense darkness, and sometimes this darkness is visited upon others when they want to control, hurt, or abuse someone.
These stories emphasize leaving the darkness behind and starting new lives in the light, sometimes in surprising ways that even the person involved doesn't expect. Fighting the darkness back is sometimes the hardest thing to do, and sometimes, we end up living in the shadows afterward.

Chasing the Light Trilogy
Sometimes, the light within us is the only light we have. These stories are all about focusing on that light within and making it shine as bright as it can. The dominant characters in these stories are working to save their submissives, lifting them up out of the darkness into the light. The submissives may push them away, but they don't give up, being there for them at the worst times and giving them the best times in their life. The darkness can eat someone up if they let it, and these dominants are not going to let their partners down.
Whether it's an abusive girlfriend, a sex trafficker, or an abusive boyfriend, these abused subs end up with dominants who what to care for them and help them through that darkness.

Then, he feels things he doesn’t understand, and they are pulling the organization apart one piece at a time. Between Casey’s previous “owner” and his determination to reclaim his property and a mysterious pale-skinned man who claims to be Casey’s closest friend, Miguel can’t be sure exactly what’s going on.
